About Document Editing by Scalebar
Combine any of Scalebar's 18 PDF tools into a single guided edit, entirely in your browser.
How the combined pipeline works
Pick two or more tools and Scalebar runs them one after another on the same file, in a single guided flow, without downloading and re-uploading the file between steps. The processing order is worked out automatically (for example, unlocking a password-protected PDF always happens first, and splitting or converting to images always happens last), regardless of the order you select them in. At each step you configure that tool's own settings, then move to the next one and download the final file once you're done.
If you'd rather use a single tool on its own standalone page instead (for example, to process several separate files one at a time), switch to batch mode: it turns every card above into a direct link straight to that tool's page.
Built for notarial and administrative paperwork
Combine the steps a notarial or administrative file usually needs, in one pass: redact or cover sensitive content, stamp Bates numbers, and convert the result to PDF/A for long-term archiving, plus 300+ DPI output when scans need to hold up to close inspection. Doing this one tool at a time means downloading and re-uploading the file after every step; chaining them here means one upload, one download, with the tools applied in the right order automatically.
Efficient enough that businesses can skip desktop software
Running an entire multi-step edit inside the browser (in the order Scalebar works out for you) gets the same result a desktop PDF suite would, without a business having to install, license, or keep that software updated across a team. There's nothing to deploy on every machine, it works the same on Windows, Mac, Linux or Chromebooks, and a saved workflow can be reused by anyone on the team without setup. For teams doing this regularly, that's less software to manage, not just a cheaper one.
